More Dress Ideas

In about 16 days I will be going dress shopping for the first time since I got engaged. In my last dress post I showed you guys a few Maggie Sottero dresses that I loved. This go round I will be showing a few dresses that are more in my budget and I won't have to travel two hours to get to the bridal shop. A few weeks ago at a bridal show here in the valley David's Bridal sponsored a fashion show, and for the first time I got to see just how gorgeous Oleg Cassini wedding gowns really are, which are exclusively sold at David's Bridal. These dresses are very well made and the look so classy and gorgeous! There were four dresses that I absolutely fell in love with and want to try on.

This dress (Style CRL277) is just gorgeous and is my favorite of the four. My only issue is if it would make me look too curvy, because of my "pop bottle" shape.

This dress (Style CT258) is also very pretty and would definately hide my hips with it's A-Line cut. The color is stunning!

I love the lace and sweetheart top on this dress (CT282) and this picture does it no justice it's much better in person.

I am really liking the empire waste on this dress (CU0099), again it would help to hide some of my curves.

they are all great but I have to say, those last two definitely made me stop and just admire. I love them! All depends on what looks great on you and what kind of wedding you are looking for!

And why ever hide curves! God blessed us with them!

I personally think all the dresses are very much like the ones I had seen in 99% of all weddings. "Strapless" with very similar silhouette... I like strapless but there are too many brides wearing them and I wouldn't want my wedding pics to look too similar with others brides' ....I would go for dresses that have different necklines, bodice and shape... It's just my opinion...

Thank you all for the sweet comments, I really appreciate! I do want to make a special note to

BRIDAL JEWELRY FAN:
I value your opinion however, I picked these dresses because this is what I like. Honestly I do see strapless a lot in wedding because it looks great on everyone and I feel that it will compliment me just as well. I don't care for halters, thin straps sleeves or anything else, I like the sweetheart neckline because I just thinkink its classy and elegant. I wrote a couple of posts ago about boleros because I plan to wear one during my ceremony. That will give my dress a different look but still be exactly what I want. I go dress shopping this Friday so we'll see what I come out with.

Wish me luck guys!

I love CT528. AMAZING. I believe I tried that dress on. i loved the back of the dress especially because of the "v" cut in the back. Amazing!
