The Claws Will Come Out!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I got a great manicure on Friday and it got me to thinking about what I will do for my nails on the big day. I wore acrylic tips for 4 years and took them off this past summer to let my real nails breathe! And I have not put them back on since, but I don't miss them, they were a hassel to keep up with, I had to pay if I broke one and so on. My natural nails are pretty but I am just not sure how good they will hold up on wedding day. I know that acrylic tips take a lot to break and chip. What will you do with your nails on wedding day? Nautural? French Manicure? Acrylic Tips? Will yo wear a color? I am still not sure but I just want them to look fabulous in my pictures.
**NOTE: None of these are my nails, LOL. Just pics I pulled from the net.

  1. I plan on wearing gel nails with an american menicure! Those pictures are awesome. i hope my nails look fab on wedding day too. I don't want to have to worry about that with so many other things on the plate.

Also, can you please go to motifdesigns.blogspot.com and vote for me, Authentically U Bride, to win a wedding monogram. Thanks so much!

  2. Your natural nails are so lovely, great shape, long nail beds, etc. I would just get a nice manicure like the one you've pictured and call it perfect!

  3. I will most definitely be getting fake nails!
My nails are generally good, but they ALWAYS manage to chip and crack on days of importance, so I don't trust them to cooperate on my wedding day!

And I'll have it look natural-- no crazy colors! Clean and clear :D

  5. I'm not really a fan of acrylic. They are really damaging to the nail bed. Your natural nails look very nice! Unfortunately, my nails don't have the ability to grow on their own. For my wedding I will be getting UV Gel applied.

  6. I have been thinking about this but haven't come up with an answer yet.

I don't want to do fake nails because they hurt. But, I don't want to be chipped. That will be picture hell.

    So, I don't know yet.
