Sweet, Sweet Music!

Music, oh how I LOVE music, working in the radio industry I hear all kinds of music and pretty much like it all. My DJ, Kevin Scott is a radio dj that I work with at the radio station and has graciously agreed to play my reception for FREE, as a present to me and my FH!!! He is also my friend so I want him at my ceremony as a guest so during the ceremony I need another musical alternative. When I attended the Bridal Show last week there was a classical guitarist and a cellist there playing beautiful music. The cellist asked if I wanted to make a request and she would play it, and of course I asked her to play Canon in D. It was so beautiful, I felt myself get emotional as I pictured our day, I knew right then and there that I had to have a classical duo at the wedding. My problem is that I can't decide between a cello and piano or a violin and piano, both sound beautiful and would run about $275 a duo for an hour. Because our venue has their own Baby Grand it really cut our price down. Below are samples of both, which would you use?

So Beautiful Piano & Cello.

My Favorite Violin & Piano.

  1. It's a win - win... any combination or solo of the three, is amazing... I vote for cello and piano though... or violin and piano... just love the sounds of the string instruments :)

  3. I absolutely love the cello sound.... so my vote is for Cello and Piano. Can still play high and melodious, but also has this rich quality that I find to be incredibly romantic and sexy. Just my personal preference as a musician. ;)
