I Can Toast To That!!

I was online searching for a beautiful set of real crystal toasting flutes for the wedding, something that was reasonably priced. Well mostly everything that I like was way too expensive and I just could not bring myself to pay $30 for a single toasting flute. I gave up and went back to work entering commercial orders for my real day job, lol. So about two hours later I went to lunch and on my break I decided to go to TJ Maxx to check their cylinder vase stock. I found 3 vases that would be perfect for our memory table (thanks to Bride Sophisticate for the inspiration). Along the way I thought what the heck let me just check out thier flutes and see what they might have. Well people I almost passed out, there on the shelf were a pair of Ralph Lauren, Lauren "Garland" Flutes, the same exact flute that I almost purchased from Macy's online for $22.99 each on sale. The price tag on these babies said $4.99, I looked them over top to bottom for cracks or any inperfections and found none not one. I quickly put them in my cart and silently screamed to the top of my lungs with happiness!!! I really think it was meant for me to have these, they are just gorgeous and what are the odds of finding one lone pair. Now the question that I need to pose to you is, should I get them engraved? If so should I go with something simple like our last name initial or full wedding date and details?

Check out these beauties!!!!

  1. Don't you LOVE TJ's!?!?! What a great find! These are gorgeous... As for the engraving I would just do a single last initial... but these are so pretty you don't really need to do anything at all!

  2. Very pretty! I don't know if I would engrave them or not. I think I like them as they are.

  3. they are lovely!! i think i would personally engrave them, maybe a monogram on the glass and the date on the stand... i don't know if that makes sense. anyways good luck! and great find!

  4. That is beautiful!!!

As strange as it sounds, Mr. Airforce wants to pick out our toasting glasses-- because he wants us to keep them forever and actually use them!

  5. they're lovely!! personally, I'd leave them as is, but then again I'm also not much of a fan of having glasses engraved unless it's around topside of the base, or etched into the bottom. I think they're far too pretty to distract from the lovely shape by etching them!
