If The Shoe Fits, Wear It!!!!

>> Friday, May 1, 2009

I am beyond happy this morning, although I am not a morning person at all. I received my new shoes yesterday and they are AWESOME!!! I walked around the house in them for about two hours to test drive them. I made dinner with them on (I know, dumb idea, but I was careful), I then continued to walk around the house on the hard wood floors and even danced to High School Musical songs with my daughters (lol). After all of that the shoes still didn't hurt, rub or slide around. They have the most cushion I think I have ever had in a shoe. So if you have not purchased you wedding shoes yet, you may want to check out Jessica Bennett's website. Have a good weekend ladies, I will be going this afternoon to finally get measured and order my dress since I found my rockin' shoes! More on my dress coming soon, I promise!

100 POSTS!!! & Shoe Drama...

>> Tuesday, April 28, 2009

Hey, Hey, Hey this my 100th post and that's a huge milestone for me and I hate for it to be a drama post but I'm fuming! I went this past Friday to finally get fitted for my dress and order it. I took my shoes that I was so in love with. I get to the boutique get the measure dress on and my shoes and guess what, they HURT and when I say HURT I mean, the balls of my feet killed me and my back was in pain as well. I don't get it because I wear hills daily, all day long but these were just unbearably uncomfortable. I was both sad and mad because I really liked those shoes and I just wanted order my dress. The consultant asked if I just wanted to get measured and wear flats. Don't get me wrong I love flats I wear those some days but on the day of I want to feel tall and sexy. My man is 6'2" and I'm 5'4" so I like to wear hills so he doesn't have to pick my up to kiss me, haha!

So anyway the search was on for a new pair of more more comfy shoes. I actually found a pair that had great reviews for comfort and were on sale, YAY! They are from Jessica Bennett and is called the "Henley," they were originally $120 and I got them for $69.99. Hopefully when they arrive they fit, are comfy and a match my dress, cross your fingers or I will be hunting again. Luckily I can return the others because Macy's has 180 day returns.

I Finally Found My Shoes!!!!

>> Tuesday, February 24, 2009

WoooHooo!! After a two week search high and low I finally found my shoes. My dress is ivory with gold threading and I wanted to play on the gold so I found the custest Carlos Santana Shoes at Macy's. I have flat feet and because of that my feet are wide and I was having such a hard time finding something that were comfy on my feet. I love these shoes they are super sexy, comfy and I can surely rock them again with a cute dress for date night or dress up a cute pair of jeans.

I am a lover of shoes and nice expensive shoes, but who are we kidding I can't afford the shoes I drool over on a daily basis (*cough* MICHAEL KORS *cough*). Although we are on a tight budget for our wedding I will be getting a pair of designer shoes for my wedding day, they will be something that I can wear over and over because I figure if I spend that much on a pair of shoes I want to be able to wear them more than once. So here are some that I've have been stalking out!
