Do you have something that you are splurging on?
This beautiful wedding took place at the amazing Maymont in Richmond, VA. I love the gorgeous colors of her bouquet, not to mention her dress. Maymont is filled with history and wildlife. I have never been there but from the pictures I've seen, a trip up there is in my summer forecast. enjoy this beautiful wedding shot by Brett Winter Lemon Photography. Thanks for sharing Brett.
See I said I would share my hair flower with you. I purchased my flower from Macy's last week and only cost me $16. I love it and it matches my dress really good. My dress is actually a champagne color rather than ivory or white. I just love the antique look the color gives my dress. Be patient you will see her as soon as she arrives, I promise :) Until here is sneak-peak at my birdcage veil and my hair fascinator.
Good Morning all!!! I hope you all had a great weekend!! Sorry for the hiatus but I was smashed at work and had no time to blog. I am back on track and ready to get back to my planning and hopefully inspiring you all! Here are some gorgeous budget friendly hair fascinators (hair clips). I got lucky and got my hair fascinator from Macy's for $12 I will share more about mine later, I promise! But for now here are some gorgeous pieces.

Once again I have found the cutest DIY project over on one of my favorites blogs, Once Wed. Emily always has the most adorable DIY projects that are so easy to do and will not hurt your pocket. This project was made by a talented Etsy designer by the name Marissa. How cute would these bags be? Filled with your favorite candies, cookies or mini cakes. Or they could also be used to give presents to your bridesmaids!
Directions::
1. Using a pair of nice sharp pliers, cut the tops off of 4 or 5 miniature artificial flowers so that they are approximately 1.5" long.
2. Bundle flowers together and wrap with a small piece of tape. I got this cute plum roll of masking tape
here, but floral tape or any old masking tape will work well for this.
3. Tape flower bundle down to paper bag, centered and approximately 1" from the bottom
4. Using template, trace shape for vase onto backside of the patterned decorative paper and cut out
